About The Cats and Dogs Falling From The Sky by Khor Mei Wei

I remembered those two raining days during participating in Social Engagement Programme on last April. Although rain always pours down this lovely country, that specific raining day on our first day of the program just remain fresh in my memory. I remember it was Saturday, a week before mid-semester break start, and I’ve been assign to work together with some of my classmates in the mini library, everything’s new. We classified the books, key-in all the data, did everything we need.

Time stuck after we'd realized that the door is lock outside and we're at the mini library, in the middle of the greyish cloud and wobbling trees. It's a hint of rain. Dr. Ho arrived when it started to rain outside, accompany with strong wind and lightning, we are unable to hop on his car except for FJ, she was really quick.

After fighting with the rain with umbrellas for 10 minutes, we finally decided to went back to the mini library. MY's umbrella was sacrificed during the tough fight.

PS: FJ was left alone in Dr.Ho's car.

The cats and dogs from Kajang sky made that little town flooded with water. Cars were moving like boats in the middle of the road.

Well, the second day was not as exciting as day one, but since it's my last day taking part in the Social Engagement Programme, the weather was just the same. Same place same time, it started to rain again. But this time, we learn from our experience and immediately decided to Grab to the MRT station.

And so, the sky clears after rain, and new hopes will arrive.
