Beautiful Kajang by Lai Lee Kee
Speaking
of Kajang, most people would think of its satay (or library of New Era College
for us UM Chinese Studies students).

Indeed,
satay here is good.

But
you’re absolutely wrong if you think satay is all what Kajang about.
Thanks
to Social Engagement project, we’ve discovered a place where history of Kajang is reviving.
We’ve
spent four days at the centre to do some registration work.
It is our task for
Social Engagement project, which is to register every relic found in the
centre into a system provided.
We do the work by observing the relics, take
photos, and fill in Google form with the relics’ details.
This
task makes me feel satisfied because I got a chance to appreciate those good old
times by understanding the stories behind the relics, besides contributed in
making the centre to become systematic. (On top of that, my stomach was blessed
with the awesome food in Kajang.)
Our
project has ended, but the spirit continues. With all the good food and
humanities, Kajang is definitely worth a visit.
